I've checked my facebook account and most of the photos I see are pictures of people I know in their coats, lots of snow, and the places they've been to.
I'm a Nurse and most probably most Nursing students nowadays thought of taking up Nursing is to find a greener pasture abroad. I don't want to be a hypocrite but I've also had that inclination when I was still a student, and if given any chance to work abroad, maybe I would.
I guess these people and more from other professions just wanted to give their families a brighter stable future. This is not new, many years ago people had been drawn to working overseas due to the wage rates they get and earn for their family and for themselves. As for me, I had that in mind before I got married not just for the "financial stability" idea but for the adventure and travel itself.
Whatever reasons each of one has in being prompted to go abroad, it has been one of the many goals of Nurses, student Nurses and many individuals living in the country. I guess it's just nice to know the feeling of being in another place and to see people you know way back then there.
